I have been a Registered Dietitian for 30-plus years inspired by personal struggles of low self-esteem, disordered eating, and weight cycling with obesity. Since going plant-based about 10 years ago, I have been fascinated by the body’s perfect design to heal itself when given what it needs through nutritious whole plant foods, fun and challenging movement, quality sleep, stress management, and finding purpose.

From a passion and vision born of deep-rooted personal experience and more than three
decades of research, education, and experimentation, Preet Marwaha is an in-demand, holistic

I’m passionate about plant-based nutrition and love helping others discover how it can change their lives. My journey started over 16 years ago when I fully embraced a vegan lifestyle. It didn’t take long for me to realize that going vegan wasn’t just the best thing I could do for animals—it’s one of the best things I can do for our planet and health!

To spread the word, I founded a nonprofit promoting a vegan lifestyle. Over the years, I noticed that most people have misconceptions about plant-based nutrition, which inspired me to study nutrition more deeply. I’ve also completed specialized gut health courses, studying the human microbiome through Wageningen University & Research as well as plant-centered gut health through The Plant-Fed Gut Masterclass

That’s when I became a health coach to help bridge that gap. In 2023, I completed the Certified Plant-Based Health Coach program through the Food Revolution Network, followed by a certificate in ACT Behavioral Change in 2024.

​I’m committed to sharing current and accurate information and keeping up to date with the latest research and nutrition developments. I’ve taken additional coursework through George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, studying everything from Keto and Paleo diets to cholesterol and the effect of dairy consumption on cancer.

I am a Holistic Health Practitioner with a Master of Nutrition degree from NC State and am Triple Board Certified in: Holistic Nutrition®, Lifestyle Medicine and as a National Health & Wellness Coach.
