As a professional, Dr. Giebel has traveled and provided eye care to many developing countries in Africa, Central and South America, Eastern Europe, Asia, and in the South Pacific. Dr. Giebel has taught at University California Irvine and Loma Linda VA Medical Center. He also aided in the development of the latest technique for corneal transplants. Dr. Giebel lives with his wife, Lisa, on a farm in Walla Walla. They are both passionate about healthy lifestyle, and promote a whole-food, plant-based diet as the best foundation for healthcare. In his spare time, he loves to get outdoors, hike, scuba dive, travel, and spend time with his family.
