Dr. Sam is a primary care provider with over a decade of experience. Trained in Internal Medicine at SUNY at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, she went on to complete a General Internal Medicine Fellowship at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She pursued additional certification in the health-supportive culinary arts at the Natural Gourmet Institute as well as training in Lifestyle and Functional Medicine. Rushing Waters Medical brings together all of Dr. Sam’s professional and personal experiences in healthcare creating an environment that is respectful, takes a holistic assets-based approach to health, and partners with people to develop a personalized, evidence-based, and lifestyle focused approach to addressing health and wellbeing needs.

Dr. Jonathan Leibowitz is a highly experienced Primary Care physician based in Brooklyn, NY, with over 30 years of practice. He is triple Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Nephrology, and Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Leibowitz brings a unique and holistic approach to patient care, blending advanced traditional medicine with integrative practices like a whole-food, plant-based diet, breathing techniques, meditation, and exercise. His personal cancer journey has deeply informed his compassionate and comprehensive approach to healthcare.

Currently, Dr. Leibowitz serves as the Regional Medical Director for Rendr Doctors, Chief Medical Officer of MDLand, and is a Board Member of Everbeat. He also contributes his expertise as a member of the medical advisory board for Plant Powered Metro New York and lectures on whole food plant based solutions to medical problems.
