David Dunaief, MD, is an internist specializing in integrative medicine. He focuses on the reversal, prevention, and treatment of chronic diseases through a nutrient-dense approach, fitness, and stress management.
He is an active researcher on the impacts of diet on health, with several published studies in peer-reviewed medical journals, and he presents regularly at corporations, academic centers, wellness expos, and scientific meetings on topics pertaining to integrative/lifestyle medicine. He serves as a medical adviser to Plant Powered Metro New York, which empowers people to overcome chronic disease through whole food, plant-based nutrition.

I’m a primary care internal medicine physician in Sandy Springs. I love general primary care medicine and have a special interest in mental health, women’s health and empowering patients to live a healthy lifestyle. I value listening to patients, building relationships with them, and providing thorough, compassionate, evidence-based care. I live in Roswell with my husband and two young boys and am fluent in Spanish.
I have been vegan since early 2019 and am happy to encourage and advise patients who are vegan or who are shifting more plant-based. Dr. Asha Subramanian is a Board-certified family medicine and lifestyle medicine physician with specific expertise in evidence-based lifestyle change. She received her B.A. and M.A. in psychology with Honors and Distinction from Stanford University. Dr. Subramanian received her combined M.D./Master of Public Health degree from Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine, and completed her family medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh St. Margaret Hospital. Dr. Subramanian also completed a fellowship in community health at Georgetown University Medical Center. She is an Assistant Professor at Georgetown University in the Department of Family Medicine. In 2018, Dr. Subramanian obtained a Certificate in Plant Based Nutrition through Cornell University and in 2019, became a Diplomate of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. In 2019, she also became a Certified Food for Life instructor. Dr. Subramanian is a recipient of the Washingtonian Top Docs Award. Her professional interests include lifestyle medicine and the use of good nutrition, exercise, sleep and other strategies to optimize health; health behavior change; whole food, plant-based cooking, and community health advocacy. Dr. Subramanian founded Diya Lifestyle and Wellness LLC to better help individuals and families attain their health and wellness goals.

I’m a consultant pediatrician and Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Toronto. I completed my pediatric residency at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Prior to medical school I completed a Masters in Health Policy Planning and Finance from the London School of Economics and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Currently I work for the Scarborough Health Network and founder of Reset Pediatric Lifestyle Medicine Clinic. I have completed the Plant Based Certificate program through the T Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies at Cornell University. I have spoken on multiple phyisician panels focusing on plant based nutrition for a pediatric population and lifestyle principles. I’m passionate about promoting a culture of wellness and resilience within physician and trainee communities through medical improv, meditation and plant-based nutrition.  My plant based journey started as a child from my mom, a life long vegetarian who impressed upon me the principles of plant based eating. It wasn’t until sixteen years ago though I wholeheartedly adopted a plant-based diet to improve my meditation practice and live an eco-friendly lifestyle. After years of trial, error and refinement I have been reaping the many physical, mental and spiritual benefits of this lifestyle transformation. As a result, I have developed an approach that I have been sharing with children and families to embody a family centred approach. In the spirit of prevention as an approach for children, I advocate to help reduce the risk of heart disease, cancer, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol and fewer asthma flares all through a plant based diet. Having worked with numerous families I am passionate and confident in giving children and their families the best fuel for their wellbeing to maximize their potential.
