I am a licensed Naturopathic Physician, practicing in Kent, WA., with over 20 years of experience in lifestyle medicine and plant-based nutrition.
I have been practicing holistic health for more than 20 years, beginning with bodywork and moving on to study acupuncture. I ran my own community wellness center in Philadelphia from 2005 to 2022 with thousands of visits each year. Around 2013, I began to see the pattern in my practice of sick patients that weren’t getting better, and came to understand that is was largely dietary choices that were keeping them overweight, diabetic and many with heart disease symptoms of high cholesterol and blood pressure. I determined to find out what I could do for them. In the process, I learned about the profound benefits of a whole food plant-based diet and lifestyle, and adopted it myself.
As a way of establishing a formal presence in my area, I created the Northwest Center for Food As Medicine and began teaching people about how to change their habits to reverse their chronic conditions and lose weight for life. This was so satisfying I continue to regularly teach classes about this, and counsel those who reach out to me in person or on zoom. I pride myself on being accessible and affordable. This way of living transformed my life for the better–I’m so glad to help others do the same!
“Food is your Best Medicine” and I have 50 years of experience in healing with plants. After receiving my Doctor of Medicine degree in 1984, I began using my expertise in Holistic Healing to a sound scientific evidence-based Integrative Medicine practice. I am also a certified Zumba and MixxedFit instructor. I truly believe that true health must be a balance of the Body, Emotion and Spirit equally and every treatment has to take all into account. Epigenetics is also an important part of the process. My passion is Chronic Diseases – especially when a patient is told that they will have to take a medication for the rest of their life. This is a journey that is educational, easy and fun. Every treatment is individual. I am the author of “Miracle Self-Healing” available on Amazon.
My passion is people experiencing PRISTINE health! I am a native New Yorker, now a North Carolinian :) Raised on Long Island, a Harvard University graduate, with a background in schizophrenia research. I am a traditionally trained Medical Doctor obtaining my medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. I have been in the field of medicine for 20 years in the areas of primary care and mental health. I co-own a mental health practice with my husband, called The Neil Group, where we offer individual, family & group therapy as well as medication management – in office and via telehealth for all things mental health.
I have always been intrigued by our amazingly designed bodies. Over 10 years ago, I had an epiphany and I asked myself, “why am I eating animals?”. Then I researched the health benefits of not consuming animal flesh, and I stopped eating animals immediately and completely and haven’t turned back ;) I am an energetic and motivating physician, and my patients endearingly refer to me as “Dr. Joyful”. I understand clearly that the way our bodies are designed to operate is impeded by many of the lifestyle choices that are made. I became certified in plant-based nutrition from Cornell University because, while I thoroughly enjoyed medical school, there was minimal training in nutrition. Now, I am better able to help my patients see the benefits of a plant-powered way of eating. We offer Wellness at our practice in order to provide patients another way of addressing their general health and mental health concerns. We offer one-on-one wellness consultations, as well as groups to help hold people accountable to their goals. We offer very individualized care and are optimistic about the journey towards achieving Pristine Health.

I am a structured and pragmatic, yet compassionate wellness coach. Whether your goal is to make gradual improvements to your health, or to completely transform your habits to address a pressing health concern, I’m here to guide and support you. Are you ready to take the first step toward a healthier, more vibrant life? Let’s work together to create a sustainable path toward better health and well-being!
I have been a clinical pharmacist in adult internal medicine for 15 years. After a shocking personal health diagnosis, I completely revamped my lifestyle and nutrition to focus on whole plants. I’ve never felt healthier! I completed the Food Revolution Network Plant-Based Coaching Certification in August 2025. I am now bringing my professional and personal experience to coaching in order to help others with chronic health conditions improve their nutrition and overall health. Whether the goal is to improve energy, eliminate meat, or totally overhaul the diet, I meet people where they are and use a validated but personalized approach.
I have been vegetarian since 2021 and quit dairy completely in early 2025. I know how difficult it can be to move away from animal products and feel like you’re relearning recipes and go-to meals, but I also know the impact to health of moving toward a more whole food plant-based diet.
My passion is in helping others discover how to incorporate more fruits, veggies, and other whole plant foods into their diet without feeling like they have to sacrifice enjoyment, taste, or convenience. I have always enjoyed food and I take great pleasure in helping others discover foods and recipes that they learn to love that also love them back.
I find that focusing on what you CAN eat to fuel healing and provide energy to pursue your goals is much more motivating than focusing on what you’re “giving up.”
It is my passion, and would be my privilege, to be able to support you on this journey.
