In addition to my years of experience, I trained with Dr. Andrew Weil at the University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine and am a board certified health and wellness coach. I work with my patients and clients to adopt a plant based diet to reverse diabetes and prevent other chronic diseases such as heart disease and dementia. Read more…I’m a wife, mom, sister, best friend, author, nutritionist, geeky scientist, and outdoor enthusiast. My journey into wellness started with heartbreak, the sudden loss of my dad. It lit a fire in me to understand what really creates long-lasting health, and that search led me to embrace a whole new way of eating and living.
I dove headfirst into the science behind nutrition, earned multiple certifications in plant-based nutrition, culinary instruction, medicinal plants, and health coaching, and even when life threw me a cancer diagnosis, I kept going. That experience only deepened my passion and transformed my health in ways I never imagined.
Now, I spend my days sharing everything I’ve learned with anyone ready to take back their health. I love being in the kitchen, teaching classes, coaching individuals, and geeking out over how food truly changes us at the cellular level.
