Hello! I’m a Double Board Certified Internal Med Physician specializing in Lifestyle Medicine. I have a Direct Care/ Concierge Personalized Medical Private Practice in Sarasota, FL and open to helping more patients via Telehealth. I left a 7 year traditional Primary care because of compassion fatigue and burnout. During my time off, I re-connected with my authentic self and found a way to marry my passion and purpose. My passion is cooking healthy, delicious food and my purpose is helping people. Thus, I created a new type of medical practice where I focus on providing Patient Centered, collaborative, personalized whole person health care.
With Lifestyle Medicine as my canvas, I craft together health and wellness plans that work to improve the pain points of each of my unique patients. I offer a multitude of investment plans that really help every single patient who wants to be empowered with their health.Â
I’m unique because 1. I’m pro-active with my patients, 2. I’m available and can be held accountable via text, phone, emails 3. I offer a range of fun health upleveling services 4. I don’t believe in restrictions 5. All my services are personalized 6. I truly care about human connection and my work is to move this world upward and forward.
When I’m not doctoring; I’m enjoying a walk with my husband or cooking with my two young boys. I look forward to helping you!

Read more…Dr. Young is an Arizona native who grew up in Cave Creek and now lives in north Scottsdale with her husband, Jon, and four kids. She is a currently practicing, board-certified, Emergency Medicine physician working and is certified as a diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. She graduated medical school from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, AZ in 2006 and completed Emergency Medicine residency at Maricopa Medical Center in 2009. She has been practicing for 15 years.
As an Emergency Medicine physician, Dr. Young sees patients at their most critical points, frequently on the worst day of their lives.  Her job is to stabilize, rule out life-threatening conditions and treat any acute illnesses. Often what brings patients to the emergency department are things that could have been avoided with lifestyle changes. Heart disease, cancer, stroke and diabetes are among the top 10 leading causes of death in the United States. Through lifestyle changes, patients are able to significantly reduce their risk for all of these!
Dr. Young loves working in the emergency department but found herself wishing she had more time to spend with patients. When she sees patients in the ED, she can touch briefly on simple things they can do to take charge of their health, but her interactions are limited by time. She is excited to start Sozo Lifestyle Medicine so that she can change her pace, develop relationships with her patients and help support them as they take charge of their health. Through lifestyle interventions that reverse chronic disease as well as her skillset as an Emergency Medicine physician, she will do her best to help her patients stay healthy and out of the emergency department.
Her hope for Sozo is to create a place of community, health, service, life and joy.
At Sozo Lifestyle Medicine Dr. Young provides care based on the the direct care model. Sozo provides membership-based medical care inspired by the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model. Under the DPC model, the patient pays a monthly membership fee and receives health care directly from the physician. DPC practices do not participate in any insurance plans, allowing physicians to focus on caring for the patient rather than excessive documentation demands and overhead costs associated with billing insurance companies. This means less stress, no co-pays, relaxed visits and direct access to your doctor.
Yearly wellness exams and healthcare maintenance
Sports and school physicals
Ability to contact Dr. Young by phone, text, email, or video chat
Unhurried office visits and relationship focused medical care
Same day or next day visits in most cases

Urgent/Sick visits
In-office testing included in membership

Driven by an unwavering dedication to health and well-being, Niki Davis, MD, made a transformative shift from a career in rocket science to become a board-certified family and lifestyle medicine physician. Her journey began as a young teen when she conscientiously started eliminating animal products from her diet due to health concerns. Despite earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering and contributing significantly to the space shuttle program, her true passion was rooted in health and nutrition. Motivated by the aspiration to enhance both her own and her family’s well-being, she wholeheartedly embraced a plant-based lifestyle.
Rekindling her profound interest in health, Dr. Davis redirected her path, leaving her engineering career to pursue medical studies. She graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine in 2017 and completed a rigorous Family Medicine residency program in 2020. During her residency tenure, she not only served as Wellness Chief but also co-founded Plant Based Montana, an advocacy group dedicated to educating healthcare providers and the public about the advantages of a plant-based diet.
Dr. Davis is a sought-after speaker at national and virtual plant-based events and has had the privilege of learning from esteemed mentors such as Dr. John McDougall, Dr. Michael Klaper, Dr. Anthony Lim, Dr. Laurie Marbas, and Dr. Alan Goldhamer, among others. She is a regular guest on Chef AJ’s YouTube channel, holds a certificate in plant-based nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies via eCornell, and is certified in The Starch Solution. She is on the board of directors for Plant Based Support.
Passionate about Lifestyle Medicine, Dr. Davis offers TeleHealth appointments through LifestyleTelemedicine.com, aiming to provide comprehensive care and guidance to individuals seeking a healthier lifestyle. In addition, she runs plant based wellness retreats in locations around the world.

Read more…Foundational to my approach to dermatology is an understanding of how underlying states of health and disease manifest in the skin. Because I want my patients to not only look their best, but feel their best too, I take a holistic approach to optimizing the health and quality of the skin by also addressing the wellbeing of what lies beneath it. How? By including a discussion of the most effective, evidence-based, AND side-effect-free way to prevent and reverse inflammation and chronic disease — following a whole-food, plant-based diet! Why? Because I want my patients’ immune systems to not be so busy fighting dietary inflammation that they are prepared and able to stop new cancers themselves so my cancer-removing skills aren’t needed.
After doing a CO2 laser procedure to really turn-back-the-clock, I know that my patients following a plant based diet will have the added benefit of clear arteries to supply all the powerful antioxidants circulating from their meals filled with greens, beans, berries, and seeds to continuously support the newly-formed collagen from the inside-out. Additionally, whole-food, plant-based diets are unparalleled in their ability to boost fat loss while enabling lean muscle gain. This is particularly exciting for our patients seeking to jump-start their weight loss through CoolSculpting or increase their strength with the TruSculpt Flex as a whole-food, plant-based diet will not only help with immediate results, but help sustain a healthy weight and strong physique for years to come.
