My journey to becoming a health coach started in 2012 when I noticed how my health was being affected by my dietary and lifestyle choices. At the time, I was a bit lost and overwhelmed with the amount of information that seemed contradictory in providing answers that would improve my health and wellbeing. In addition to making lifestyle changes, studying the latest research and adopting a whole food plant-based diet, I have dramatically changed my health for the better.
As a certified plant-based coach, I will help you adopt a plant-based diet and help you make healthier, more sustainable choices. Read more…Carlene McIntyre is a dedicated Food Revolution Network Certified Plant-Based Health Coach. She was a pharmacist for 40 years before retiring and becoming a health coach. Based on scientific evidence as well as her previous professional experience, Carlene is strongly convinced that healthy whole plant foods are critical for health and wellness. On a personal note, she lost over 80 pounds after switching to a whole food plant-based diet. She is also certified as a solution focused practitioner, CSFP-Advanced, and serves as a volunteer mentor for Plant Powered Metro NY.
