My passion is helping individuals transform their health through whole, plant-based foods and sustainable lifestyle changes. My approach is all about creating an empowering and personalized experience just for you. I’m here to provide consistent support to help you navigate challenges, uncover what’s been holding you back, and move forward with confidence. Together we’ll design a flexible and fun program that fits your specific needs, simplifying healthy eating into manageable steps that take the overwhelming feelings out of nutrition. The goal is to help you make gradual, but meaningful changes that align with your long-term wellness goals. Beyond the physical, I’m here to support the emotional side of your journey, offering a space to work through fears, doubts, or frustrations with compassion and empathy. One of the great things about coaching is there’s no “one-size-fits-all.” Together, we’ll build a personalized plan based on your unique goals, lifestyle, and needs. From meal planning to lifestyle strategies, I focus on the whole person, ensuring that each step feels achievable and enjoyable. Whether you’re transitioning to plant-based eating or looking to improve your overall well-being, I’m here to provide education, guidance, and support through the entire journey.
A little backstory about me, my plant-based journey began with an eye-opening moment: watching a documentary in my high school health class that exposed me to the origins of our food system. This opened my eyes to our food system and how little I realized our food choices deeply impact our personal health, the health of the planet, and the wellbeing of animals. With these realizations, further research, and personal growth, I fully embraced a whole food plant centered lifestyle and haven’t looked back. Experiencing the benefits firsthand such as more energy, improved wellness, and clarity—solidified my mission to help others achieve the same. I’m passionate about showing how small but intentional changes can prevent lifestyle-related illnesses and create a healthier, more vibrant life. If you’re looking for someone who will support you every step of the way on your plant-based journey, I’m here for you. Let’s make those health goals a reality—together!

Although Dr. Kotlerman was running a successful practice in nutrition, it was obvious that there was a missing piece, as many clients needed more. It was at this time that Dr. Kotlerman walked the El Camino de Santiago, in Europe, and had a life-changing experience that showed her that she needed to commit to the process of being a chiropractor. Four days after returning to the United States, she was enrolled in Life West Chiropractic College in San Francisco, CA.
She graduated Life West Chiropractic College with Emerald clinical honors and as a recipient of the Carl Dieter Philosophy Scholarship. Dr. Kotlerman received education and certification in: Thompson drop table, toggle, diversified Gonstead, activator, DNFT, pediatric, pregnancy, and SOT Chiropractic techniques.
Dr. Kotlerman has since specialized in Averio FNT, a tonal, low-force chiropractic technique that uses sustained contact in specific areas in order to change spinal alignment and function.
Dr. Kotlerman is a published author with two books. Her clinical results book, “Exceptional Health: You Can Have It!” and her personal memoir, “Seeing Magic“. I am passionate about helping women and their families gain control of their health. I meet you where you are and together we build personalized, integrative plans that focus on building foundations of optimal health. My lifelong interest in promoting and encouraging healthy lifestyles began as a young gymnast years ago. I competed at the elite level, was a member of the U.S. National Team, and earned a full scholarship to the Stanford University Women’s Gymnastics Team. After four years as a Division I NCAA student-athlete, I began training and racing triathlons while earning my master’s degree. After graduating I helped build sports programs for kids in Japan, organized triathlons and led bike tours in the Southwest, and managed the sports program for Special Olympics Nevada. I then spent three years inspiring audience members performing as a professional acrobat in Cirque du Soleil’s KA at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, while also continuing to participate in full-distance triathlons. I was then introduced to naturopathic medicine during a 4,500-mile, self-supported bicycle trip with my husband where we witnessed the unequivocal interconnectedness of the environment and health. I was motivated to learn more and earned my naturopathic doctorate degree from Bastyr University while growing our family. I now have my own, small private practice in Maple Valley, WA where I encourage, coach, and help patients live their best life in person and via telemedicine. As a mom of three, I understand the juggle of home, work, school, play, self-care, and all the roles that come with being a mother. My passion is helping you navigate your own juggle so that you can optimize both your own and your family’s health. I cannot wait to hear your story!
