Meal planning, counseling on improving dietary patterns
I am a Registered Nurse at a busy Emergency Department in the greater Los Angeles area. At every single shift, I see dozens of patients with conditions that are preventable through diet and lifestyle. My aim is to help people move towards a healthier lifestyle and to teach them how to stay out of the ER! I provide introductory educational lectures to groups on how to incorporate more plants into one’s diet and I provide hands-on tips and tricks to help improve one’s overall dietary and lifestyle pattern. I specialize in addressing cardiovascular disease, high cholesterol, hypertension and other chronic diseases through whole foods plant-based nutrition.

I have been a Whole Food, Plant-Based eater since 2016. I lost 60# with Bright Line Eating in 2016 and reversed hypertension, obesity, and borderline diabetes. Both plans are the most effective and sustainable for accomplishing improved health and optimal weight. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner working at Harbor Community Health Center in San Pedro, CA. I am available to assist anyone who is interested in learning more about these two ways of eating to improve his or her health. I can prescribe medications for those who need them, with a goal of weaning off medications as your diet improves. Our clinic accepts self-pay or various insurances, including Medicare, MediCal, and several HealthCareLA plans.
