Jill Edwards, MS, CEP, DipACLM
Jill’s career has spanned classrooms, corporate training, clinical care, and nonprofit leadership, all united by a passion for transforming health through lifestyle medicine. She began as a high school teacher and professional dancer, developing the presence and communication skills that continue to shape her teaching and public speaking today. She later transitioned into exercise science and nutrition, earning a BA in Education and an MS in Exercise Physiology.
As a Clinical Exercise Physiologist with the American College of Sports Medicine, Jill spent over eight years in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, where she played a key role in bringing the Ornish Intensive Cardiac Rehab (ICR) program to Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
For a decade, Jill served at the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, rising from Plant-Based Nutrition Instructor to Executive Director of Education. She was instrumental in developing the organization’s flagship Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate with Cornell University, now a globally recognized credential.
Today, as Director of Education for The Plantrician Project, Jill oversees Plantrician University and Plantrician Providers, creating the educational content that equips healthcare professionals and changemakers to put lifestyle medicine into practice. Her work sits at the intersection of clinical rigor and real-world teaching — turning research into the kind of knowledge that changes how people eat, how clinicians treat, and ultimately, how healthy a life can be.
