Injury Prevention, Orthopedic and Sports Movement Assessment and Rehabilitation

Jennifer Roche is a Scroth certified specialist and a Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) Level 2 Clinician. She received her master’s degree in physical therapy from Columbia University and chemistry degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, American College of Sports Medicine, the Plantrician Society, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She has also completed extensive course work in concussion, vestibular, and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) rehabilitation.
She the author of Peak Performance Fitness: Maximizing Your Fitness Potential Without Injury or Strain. Jennifer’s past experiences also include being heavily involved in New York City’s health, fitness, and wellness community. She was a group fitness instructor for both Equinox and Crunch, a personal trainer, a contributor to various national magazines and appeared as a health/fitness expert on numerous television shows. Her coursework in mind/body awareness (Pilates, Yoga, Alexander Technique), and athletic training (running, swimming, boxing, spin) inform her treatment plans which enable her to help her patients to rehabilitate themselves, prevent future injury, and empower them to improve their overall health.
