I was sick and tired of feeling lousy and not having enough energy to get through my day. I was shocked when my doctor told me I was pre-diabetic, had high cholesterol, fatty liver disease and on the cusp of being diagnosed as obese. Does any of this sound familiar and keep you up at night or keep you from doing the things you love, like playing with your kids or grandkids, or walking your dog? Do any of these health issues keep you from participating in events with family and friends? Would you love to drop excess weight more easily and keep it off, get off prescription medications for high cholesterol or blood pressure, wake up feeling refreshed and full of energy, no longer have to wear a glucose monitor, take insulin shots and avoid eating carbohydrates? What results would you love to have so you can do what you want, when you want?
I’ve had amazing results while on my wellness journey by leaning into plant-based eating to resolve multiple, chronic lifestyle diseases without medications, excessive exercise, dieting or feeling deprived. Along the way, I earned my Plant-Based Nutrition certification from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and eCornell and I’m a graduate of the Food Revolution Network’s Plant-based Coaching Certification program. I graduated from the Rouxbe (Forks Over Knives) Plant-based cooking course and I’m currently enrolled in the McDougall Starch Based certification program. I completed Claire Zammit’s Institute for Women-Centered Coaching, Foundations of Women-Centered Coaching Program and Dr. Will Bulsiewicz’s Plant Fed Gut program. I’m currently enrolled in the Married to Health, Good Gut SIBO/IBS program with Dalia Marin, RDN, LD, CGN and James Marin, RD, EN.
